March Team Brae-er Blog Hop - Dreamin' Big

Welcome back to our monthly team Brae-er Blog Hop featuring the brand new Dreamin' Big paper pack.  If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop. If you came from Michelle's blog then you are in the right place!

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

This month we are featuring our Dreamin' Big Workshop Your Way kit.  I simply LOVE this paper.  It is super cute and versatile.  For this page I decided to use the new cut apart sheet to create a layout.  I haven't really used these cut apart sheets very much since they started making them.  I'm really happy with how this page turned out and I'm going to make a point of doing this more often.

The next stop on the Hop is Sheena. Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to create your own projects from those that you have seen along the way.  Don't forget to hop along again next month.

Huntington Halloween

I've been getting caught up on my Halloween layouts.  This is a retired paper but it suited the subject.

This is the workshop layout but I changed the title to suit my needs.

I've used the swiping technique to stamp my title images.  So simple but a great effect.

January Team Brae-er Blog Hop - Sugar Rush

Welcome back to our monthly team Brae-er Blog Hop featuring the brand new Sugar Rush paper pack. We've all been very busy lately so it's been a long time since we've done a blog hop.  Hopefully we are back to a regular schedule again.  If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you get lost you can find your way by going to Brae's blog for a full list of participants. If you came from Emily's blog then you are in the right place!

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

I think the new Sugar Rush paper pack is adorable.  I wasn't sure at first as it is a bit feminine but I think this layout works great for my son's garden pictures.
The next stop on the Hop is Jennifer. Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to create your own projects from those that you have seen along the way.  Don't forget to hop along again next month.

Blossom Layout for a Boy

So, I have two little boys.  I still love some of the girly type paper though.  I have found that I can make almost any of the girly type paper packs work for my boy layouts.

Although there are lots of florals and pinks in this kit I pulled out those and used some cardstock to keep it simple and more masculine.

This paper is retired now but I bet that I can pretty much do this with any kit.  I challenge you to try this too.  I'd love to hear which kits you've done this with.

Picture My Life Mini Book

I don't know about you but I love Picture My Life cards.  I find myself pulling them out all the time to use for different things.  They are great to add to layouts, use for greeting cards or even make into a little mini book as you can see here.

Add some washi tape binding and assorted embellishments from your stash and it's done.  It only took about a half hour to finish this one up.

It's that simple.  Of course if you would like to have some help and more detailed instructions just let me know and I can set up a workshop were you and some friends can come and make these!

February Team Brae-er Blog Hop - Valentines

Welcome back to our monthly team Brae-er Blog Hop featuring a VALENTINE'S THEME. We've all been very busy lately but it's good to finally be back into the swing of things.  If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you get lost you can find your way by going to Brae's blog for a full list of participants. If you came from Darcel's blog then you are in the right place!

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

I am in LOVE with the new Charlotte paper and accessories!  I attended a corporate event in which we created the beautiful new style of Workshop Your Way kit with them.  I used a few of the left over pieces to create this lovely Valentine's card for my hubby.

I don't often decorate the inside of cards but I just love this Spring Time Wishes stamp set.  Did you know that CTMH now has coordinating Thin Cuts for some of their stamp sets?  Although I love my cricut, these are super easy to use and I like that I can stamp them first and then line up the die to cut  it out.

The next stop on the Hop is Rosalynd. Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to create your own projects from those that you have seen along the way.  Don't forget to hop along again next month.

Jackson Mini Album

I created this cute little mini album as part of a challenge and just love how it turned out.

I used the Mini Folio album.  It's a cute 4"x4" album that is great for those instagram photos.
I used the retired Jackson papers for this book.
I added in the retired Brave Enamel Shapes to the pages.
Even though the items are retired you can still find them in the while supplies last section, but hurry before they are gone.

I hope you enjoyed my little album and please leave a comment below.
